Root Cause: High resistance in OEM harness causes voltage dropout and could be leading to FC1682 or FC3574 coming active incorrectly. Verification Proceed to perform Aftertreatment Diesel Exhaust Fluid Voltage Drop Test. See corresponding Service Manual. If the voltage drop is within specification, proceed to the corresponding Troubleshooting Tree for the respective fault code. If the voltage drop is not within specification, proceed to the Resolution section below. Resolution Malfunctioning OEM Wiring harness is detected if the voltage drop is not within specification. Repair or replace the OEM wiring harness. See corresponding Service Manual. Reference Procedure 019-071 in Section 19.
