STAR ONLINE PUBLICATION Case Number: S1808000175 Release Date: 3/28/2020 Symptom/Vehicle Issue: LED Front Fog Lamps Flicker Or Intermittently Light, Are Dim Or Inoperative. A U11E9, or B16FB-15 may be set Diagnosis: The customer may complain the front LED fog lamps flicker, intermittently light, are dim or inoperative. Upon scanning the vehicles for DTC you may find U11E9 or B16FB-15. Inspect the fog lamp connectors verifying the connectors are fully seated and engaged. To verify, disengage and re-engage the female side of the fog lamp connector. It is also advised to inspect the fascia connector for water intrusion and corrosion. Clean, replace and repair as necessary. Repair Procedure: If the fog lamps still do not light and/or flicker. Verify power and ground going to the fog lamp connector. If no issues are found, replace the fog lamp. This document does not authorize warranty repairs. This communication documents a record of past experiences.
