5/28/2020 Print Case Solution K07192247 Thursday, May 28, 2020 1:41:41 PM CEST ** SOLUTION ** Title Driveline Noise, Suspension Ride Height Too High, Suspension Will Not Exhaust - Chassis Built 2016w01 And Newer Mack Models Mack Model LEU , LR , MRU - TerraPro , TE - TerraPro , AN - Anthem , CHU - Pinnacle, Axle back , CXU - Pinnacle, Axle front , GR - Granite , GU - Granite , PI Pinnacle , TD - Titan Volvo Models Volvo Model VNL , VNM , VNR , VNX , VAH , VHD , VT ** SOLUTION ** Cause Chassis built in 2016w01 and newer may experience instances where the suspension does not exhaust, resulting in the vehicle maintaining a high ride height in the rear and/or noise from the driveline or the carrier due to high pinion angles. Solution The symptoms above may be caused by accumulation of debris in the exhaust port of the Barksdale leveling valve (corrosion, road salt, dirt, etc). The exhaust port allows air to be exhausted from the suspension system to maintain a level ride height. Repair 1. Replace the clogged Barksdale leveling valve. 3. Using the parts indicated below, create a 90 degree bend out of the exhaust port.
