SSM 48877 - 2017-2019 F-Super Duty - Illuminated MIL With DTCs P2B11,
P2B13, P2B15, P2B17, P2B19, P2B1B, P2B1D And/Or P2B1F
Some 2017-2019 F-Super Duty vehicles equipped with a 6.7L diesel engine may exhibit an
illuminated malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) with diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) P2B11, P2B13,
P2B15, P2B17, P2B19, P2B1B, P2B1D and/or P2B1F. If thesecodes have set with a customer
complaint of abnormal steering wheel oscillation, clear these DTCs and address any steering related
concerns. If these DTCs do not return, do not make any fuel injector related repairs. The abnormal
steering wheel oscillation event may be generating noise on the camshaft or crankshaft sensor
frequency resulting in these DTCs to set.
