POWERTRAIN
Vehicle Stops Charging After 18 Hours
Customer Voice:
•
Vehicle does not fully charge on a Level 1, 110v charger.
Technical Description:
•
Vehicles built currently have an 18 hour time limit in the software for charging.
This may cause a condition where the vehicle is connected to a charger for
longer than 18 hours, but does not charge completely to 100% SOC. This
condition may be exacerbated by cold ambient conditions and using a 120V
charge cable which require a longer amount of time to fully charge the battery.
Status:
•
•
•
PCM Calibration will change to increase 18 hour timing.
Should you have a customer with this concern, please advise them to use a
Level 2, 240V charger until the revised calibration is available.
Software is expect to be available on PATHFINDER 22-May
