The Adaptive Cruise Assist feature does not work. Workshop findings: The following DTC is stored in the control module for driver assist systems, J1121 (address word 00A5): DTC B200FF9 (internal problem) with symptom code 2117711 and is sporadic. Service 1. Clear the DTCs. After clearing the DTCs, the concern will be temporarily fixed. However, the problem might reoccur until a permanent solution is available. 2. Explain to the customer that a solution is forthcoming for 3rd quarter of 2020 and that no repairs are necessary at this point. Do not replace any components for this condition since this will not resolve the customer’s concern. 3. Create a PSS record in the PSS application through the Pending Service Solutions (PSS) link in AccessAudi (under Related Links >> Service), or through the Technical Assistance page in Elsa. Warranty Claim Type: 110 up to 48 Months/50,000 Miles. G10 for CPO Covered Vehicles – Verify Owner. If the vehicle is outside any warranty, this Technical Service Bulletin is informational only.
