Speed limit assist display in the instrument cluster and MBUX navigation display shows incorrect speed as compared
to actual roadway speed limit
Cause:
Parameterization of the Multifunction Camera control unit

Verify customer complaint in the specific area where the complaint occurs
Review vehicle equipment codes, if option IT9 (4.0-tonner) OR IT5 (5.0 tonner) are equipped in the vehicles data
card
Open a PTSS case for processing and include an initial quicktest log & control unit log for the Multifunction Camera control unit (B84/13). Additionally please provide details of the posted speed limit and the limit displayed
by Speed Limit Assist.
The PTSS case agent will review the provided data and adjust vehicle coding accordingly if necessary.
After replay from PTSS case agent, preform SCN coding of the Multifunction Camera control unit (B84/13)
Perform roadtest in the affected area and verify proper system operation
