• Recall 2020491 [Canada]: Brakes
  Issue: on certain vehicles, the front and rear brake hoses may have been damaged during production. Over time, this could cause the hoses to leak brake fluid. If this happens, brake performance could be reduced and there could be a loss of stability when braking. Note: this problem could cause the brake pedal to 'feel soft' or cause the low brake fluid light to turn on. If you experience either of these symptoms, you should park your vehicle and contact your local mercedes-benz dealer. Safety risk: reduced brake performance can cause extended stopping distances and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective actions: mercedes-benz will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to inspect the brake hoses on the rear and front axles. They will be replaced, if necessary.

• Recall 2020134 [Canada]: Brakes
  Issue: on certain vehicles, the front brake hoses may contact the fender liners. This could cause damage to the hoses that can result in a brake fluid leak. If this happens, brake performance could be reduced. Note: a brake fluid leak can cause the low brake fluid warning to turn on. Safety risk: reduced brake performance can cause extended stopping distances and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective actions: mercedes-benz will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to inspect the front brake hoses. If the hoses are damaged, they will be replaced. Additionally, the front fenders liners will be cut to prevent future damage.

• Recall 2022214 [Canada]: Visual system
  Issue: on certain vehicles, a software problem could cause the rearview camera image not to appear on the central display. Canadian regulations require the rearview image to display when the transmission is shifted into reverse gear. Safety risk: a rearview camera image that does not display could reduce a driver's ability to see behind the vehicle while backing up. This could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective actions: mercedes-benz will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealership to update the rearview camera software.

Consumer writes regarding a defective backup camera and lane watch. *ld the consumer stated the back up camera/lane watch was unable to be seen in the daylight, the upper door lock was inoperative, the kitchen faucet leaked. The tv needs to be replaced. The mirrors were insufficient in allowing the consumer to view what is being towed. The camera/radio would not turn off, but this was repaired. *js
