This is to notify you of a Service Campaign to inspect the propeller shaft check strap on crossmember on approximately 81 MY 20192023 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Vans. All affected VINs will be flagged as "OPEN" in VMI
Background
What We’re Doing
Mercedes-Benz AG, the manufacturer of Sprinter vans, has determined that Propeller Shaft Check Strap
on the crossmember may not have been installed on certain Mercedes-Benz Sprinter vans.
An authorized Mercedes-Benz dealer will inspect and retrofit the propeller shaft check strap if needed.

columns and position the four
support plates at the vehicle lift
