Complaint:
Knocking, rattling noise from vehicle front end while driving.
After switching off, the engine does not re-start the next time.
Starter is not activated by operation of the ignition/starter switch.
Terminal 30 voltage and signal voltage present at starter.
Cause:
Mounting bolt for left engine mount (engine carrier to engine mount) loose, deformed or broken.
As a result, there is a break in the ground connection to the engine and the engine does not start.

Remedy:
Replace mounting bolt for left engine mount. Fasten bolt and ground line (tightening torque 58 Nm).
If necessary, replace left engine mount, if engine mount has consequential damage.
