Help lines/guidelines are not displayed or are displayed incorrectly
Cause:
Incorrect coding in vehicle
Body/equipment mounting directives have not been observed.
Code O1N (activation of reversing camera without guidelines) has not been entered into the vehicle data card (VeDoc) and/or control unit B84/3 for the reversing camera (RVC177) had not been coded.
Remedy:
Observe the body/equipment mounting directives and WIS document AN54.65-D-0030TSC.

Retrofitting of the reversing camera without the reversing aid electrical pre-installation (FR7) is not approved by
the manufacturer and may not be coded in the vehicle.
On vehicles equipped with code FR7 (reversing aid electrical pre-installation), the reversing camera can be retrofitted in accordance with WIS document AN54.65-D-0030TSC. When doing so, it is essential to enter code
O1N (activation of reversing camera without guidelines) into VeDoc and code control unit B84/3 for the reversing
camera (RVC177).
It is not possible to show help lines/guidelines on the retrofitted camera.
In VeDoc, the changing of code FR8 (reversing camera) is now locked. Adding or removing it is no longer possible.
Vehicles which have had code FR7 wrongly deleted and code FR8 added before code FR8 was locked can
be restored to the correct status (without guidelines) by adding code O1N (Activation of reversing camera without guidelines) in Vedoc and then performing SCN coding of control unit B84/3 for the reversing camera (RFK)
(RVC177).
