Technical Background
Error: “start stop" message continues to display on instrument cluster -KX2- after removing vehicle from transport
mode.
Service

Connect ODIS.

Navigate to Engine > Control Module OBD > Clear DTC memory.

Select Adaptations > Start/Stop Adaptation.
In the current status the display should indicate "Not Active”.

Click in the entry field on the right, select Activate and then select Apply.
With an ignition cycle the message should clear and Start/Stop should be functional.
