Technical Background Error: “start stop" message continues to display on instrument cluster -KX2- after removing vehicle from transport mode. Service Connect ODIS. Navigate to Engine > Control Module OBD > Clear DTC memory. Select Adaptations > Start/Stop Adaptation. In the current status the display should indicate "Not Active”. Click in the entry field on the right, select Activate and then select Apply. With an ignition cycle the message should clear and Start/Stop should be functional.
