Symptom/Vehicle Issue: MIL Lamp On Setting DTC’s P0441, P0456, P0457, P0440
Customer Complaint/ Technician Observation: Owner complains intermittently
the MIL (Malfunction Indicator Lamp) comes on in the cluster. Technician observed the stored DTC’s
relating to the emission control evaporative system, P0441 Evaporative System Performance, P0440
General Evaporative System Failure along with leak detected faults P0457 Loose Fuel Cap, P0456
Small Leak Detected.
Repair Procedure: Inspect connector XY465A for any signs of spread or pushed out terminals,
secure the connector and terminals as needed, no parts required.
