Supersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 37 number 20-00 dated July 13, 2020 for reasons listed below. When the concern occurs, the selected gear is briefly (less than two seconds) not shown in the driver information system (DIS). This may appear as follows: a. Instead of D or S showing the display will be blank. Or b. Instead of M1 or M2, only the M will appear. Workshop findings: There are no faults stored in the engine control module (ECM), J623 (address word 0001), or the transmission control module (TCM), J743 (address word 0002). There are no oil leaks from the transmission. Duplication of the concern may not be possible as it is very intermittent.
