SUBJECT: SLINGSHOT – Engine Airflow Management Kit
MODELS: 2015-2016 SLINGSHOT MODELS
Polaris has developed a new engine airflow management system, designed to enhance rider comfort in the occupant area
of the vehicle. The new design directs air from under the hood area to underneath the vehicle, thereby reducing air
transfer to the vehicle cockpit.
Components of the new system are available in engine airflow management kits for 2015 and 2016 models produced
before 2/1/2016. The new engine airflow management components are factory installed on all model year 2016.5 units
produced on and after 2/1/2016.

A new shroud installed behind the radiator pushes air out the bottom of the vehicle after passing
through radiator.
A new exhaust shield reduces radiant heat transferred to passenger foot well area.
New insulating foam reduces flow of air between engine compartment and cockpit.
MY15 Kits include a lightweight battery to ensure vehicles meet weight compliance requirements.
Installation of the engine airflow management kit will take approximately 2 hours to complete.
