Picture below shows oil leak from dipstick tube O-ring (looking through inspection mirror) Note: If there is signs of engine oil spray on the left side of the engine or the oil leak only occurs after a road test on the left side of the engine. There may be no oil residue around the dipstick tube O-ring area, but remove the dipstick tube and inspect the dipstick tube O-ring for damage and replace as needed. Picture below shows oil leak from composite oil pan sealing surface ( shown with black light and tracer dye) Note: The use of engine oil dye and trace powders are recommended to assist with isolating engine oil leak points. Be sure to clean suspected leak areas thoroughly before using trace powders.
