Condition
Some customers with 9 speed transmissions may comment on a high pitch whine noise
heard from approx. 32-56 km/h (20-35 mph) in any gear under light to moderate
acceleration.
Cause
This condition may be caused by a frequency getting transmitted from the transmission
through the left axle.
Correction
Replace the left front half shaft with the PN# listed below which has a dampener to
correct this issue. Refer to Front Wheel Drive Half Shaft Replacement - Left Side in SI.
