Introduction
On vehicles equipped with the SET accessory Split Rear Dual Exhaust system, the
exhaust pipe may become loose due to the rubber isolator separating from the bracket.
This will allow the exhaust pipe to come in contact with the frame or suspension and
cause a rattling noise. The exhaust pipe is still supported by the remaining brackets. An
updated rear exhaust hanger bracket is available to maintain correct alignment of the
hanger and Rubber Isolator.

Port Installed Option (PIO) ‐ is in effect for 36 months or 36,000 miles from the vehicle’s in‐service date, whichever
occurs first. Unless otherwise specified in vehicle VIN inquiry.
Dealer Installed Option (DIO) ‐ is in effect for 12 months, regardless of mileage, from the date the part(s) was installed
on the vehicle or the remainder of any applicable New Vehicle Limited Warranty, whichever provides greater
coverage.
Over the Counter Sale (OCS) ‐ is in effect for 12 months, regardless of mileage, from the date the part(s) were sold.
Labor is not warranted for over‐the counter service part replacements.

Revised Exhaust Hanger Brackets
1. Perform a TIS VIN inquiry to verify Vehicle is equipped with SET Accessory split rear dual
exhaust installed.



Port Installed Accessories are identified with “DE 10: Performance Dual
Exhaust” in the Vehicle Info Tab
Dealer installed Accessories are identified with the kit part number found in
Service History.
This TSB does not apply if vehicle does not have SET accessory.
2. Inspect Rear Exhaust Hangers to confirm condition

Condition: Rubber insulator has come off
the exhaust hanger.

TSB may not apply if concern is not as
shown.

3. Reference kit installation instruction to replace rear exhaust hanger with revised part
number 00016-34739-01.
4. To complete repair center the rubber
isolator in the area shown on bracket.
