Symptom/Vehicle Issue: CEL (Check Engine Lamp) On, Intermittent Hard Starting, Rough Idle
Customer Complaint/ Technician Observation: Customer complains the check engine
lamp comes on and the vehicle is hard to start. Technician observed the vehicle is setting,
DTC P0001 – Fuel Quantity Control Circuit/Open that may be active or stored.
Discussion: Inspect the N17 circuit at the 40-way black connector XY230A, examine the circuit for
a pushed out, broken terminal or a connector not fully connected. Repair circuit or secure connections
as required Fig 1, 2.
