CAUSE: This may be caused by a failed bonding process between the roof molding stud and the roof molding. ACTION: Follow the instructions below. CAUTION: Only use the adhesive from the parts list to complete this procedure. Component location. WORKSHOP PROCEDURE: 1. NOTE: Only remove the roof molding that is loose or adrift. Remove and inspect the roof molding for any damage present, (see TOPIx Workshop Manual section 501-08: Exterior Trim and Ornamentation - Removal Roof Molding). If the roof molding is damaged, discard the roof molding and continue to step 2. CAUTION: Care must be taken to avoid damaging the surrounding paintwork. Use a suitable tool to remove the 12 roof molding studs. 3. Starting at the windshield (1) and moving towards the rear of the roof panel (2), use a suitable marker to mark the roof channel in the positions indicated. 5. CAUTION: Do not apply excessive amounts of the bonding adhesive. NOTE: Make sure the bonding adhesive is applied to the center of the roof channel at each marking. CAUTION: A minimum of 24 hours is required for the bonding adhesive to cure before installing the roof molding. NOTE: Make sure the new roof studs are applied in the center of the roof channel. Install the new roof molding studs in the positions previously applied with bonding glue. 7. NOTES: If the roof molding(s) is damaged, renew the molding; do not install a damaged molding(s). Renew the roof molding, if required. Install the roof molding (see TOPIx Workshop Manual section 501-08: Exterior Trim and Ornamentation - Removal and Installation - Roof Molding). 8.
