A customer may report the air conditioning system is not cooling intermittently.
Technical Description:
–
–
This may be caused by a vehicle that is in a low state of charge. On PHEV model
variants, the a/c compressor is driven by high voltage, not an engine driven belt.
There are inhibits to powering the a/c compressor such as low battery state of
charge, which will prevent air conditioning cooling but, do not set a DTC as the
system is working as designed.
Status:
–
–
Live Data should be viewed on PATHFINDER to monitor for active inhibits when
diagnosing a customer concern.
SSM 75163 (Land Rover) & 75173 (Jaguar) are being published to help diagnose
this concern.
