WKL3 - Replacing Ball Pins on Rear Lid (Workshop Campaign)
Revision:
This bulletin replaces bulletin Group 5 100/20 WKL3, dated August 14, 2020.
Model Year:
As of 2020 up to 2021
Model Line:
Cayenne (9YB)
Subject:
Replace ball pin on rear lid
Information:
There is a possibility that the ball pins for securing the actuating cylinders for the rear lid will
loosen from the body over the service life of the vehicle due to a manufacturing error.
The resultant increased notch effect can cause the ball pins to break, resulting in unintentional lowering of
the lid.
Remedial
Action:
Replace ball pins on the rear lid at the left and right.
Affected
Vehicles:
Only vehicles assigned to the campaign (see also PCSS Vehicle Information). There are 2,149 vehicles
