Issue
Harness mis-wiring.
Symptom:
Fault Code 5866 is detected when relay voltage feedback is greater than the calibrated threshold for a calibrated duration while
the DEF pump power is OFF.

Harness is mis-wired such that the DEF pump return input at the controller is receiving continuous 24 VDC from an erroneous
wire.
Verification/Confirmation
Use multimeter to measure voltage from CC4C pin 3 to ground.
If the voltage stays stable regardless of the DEF pump status (ON/OFF) than issue is been identified.
Resolution
Harness needs to be rewired per the instructions given in the Service Instructions section of this bulletin.

1. Identify Relay 5. Figures 1, 2, 3 show the location of the harness.

2. Using quick Splice for wire gauge, splice into wire 33 that connects to R5-87 pin.

3. Remove wire going into pin 3 on CC4D.
3 a. Tape to avoid short circuit to metal parts.

4. Using quick splice for wire gauge. Splice into wire at CC4C pin 3.
5. Connect a new wire between splices.
