SUBJECT:
Description:
This bulletin provides service information for a vehicle that exhibits DTC P0507 “Idle Speed Control
(ISC) System – RPM Higher than expected”.
IMPORTANT:
The TCU ROM ID must be inspected to determine which ECU Updates need to be performed and
whether the Double Clutch must be replaced. Refer to the Service Procedure for more detail.
Applicable Vehicle:
 2016-2017 Tucson (TL) with 1.6L Turbo GDI engine and 7-speed DCT transmission.

1. Inspect the TCU ROM ID using the GDS S/W Management function and perform
repair as instructed based on the last digit: (Example: DTL0T16NS9)

Replace the double clutch according to the
vehicle shop manual DCT section*.
* DCT (Dual Clutch Transmission System > Dual
Clutch System > Dual Clutch Assembly)
Perform the ECM upgrade in Automatic Mode
according to the below GDS Information.
Perform the TCU upgrade in Manual Mode
according to the below GDS Information.
Perform the ECM upgrade in Automatic Mode
according to the below GDS Information.
Perform the TCU upgrade in Manual Mode
according to the below GDS Information.
Perform the ECM upgrade in Automatic Mode
according to the below GDS Information.
CAUTION:
 When installing the snap ring, make sure that the snap ring rotates to the LH/RH
directions well.
 Do not reuse the existing snap ring.
2. Check for Diagnostic Trouble Codes in the ALL menus and erase any DTC.
3. In event of TCU Update was done it is necessary to do the following:
a. Reset DCT adaptive values using GDS, S/W Management, Automatic
Transmission menu and Resetting Auto T/A Values. Follow the GDS prompts.
b. Relearn the DCT adaptive values using GDS, S/W Management menu and
AT Adaptation Mode. Follow the prompts on the GDS.
4. Confirm normal vehicle operation.
