Leaking Air Compressor Coolant Line Grommets
Nylon lines are not applicable to this document.
Coolant leaks occurring at either end of steel line requires inspection of the internal grommets.
Resolution
Remove both supply and return coolant lines between the engine cylinder block and the air compressor head. See
corresponding Service Manual. Reference Procedure 012-004 in Section 12.
Carefully inspect both ends of both lines.
If the internal grommet is deteriorated; remove all existing grommet material from both sides of the line and replace with
grommet, Part Number 3103015.
Install both supply and return coolant lines connecting the engine cylinder block to the air compressor cylinder head utilizing
existing service procedures.
