APPLIED VEHICLES: 2010-2015 Armada (TA60) 2010-2015 Frontier (D40) 2010-2015 Titan (A60) 2010-2015 Xterra (N50) SERVICE INFORMATION The applied vehicles are equipped with automatic door locks that lock all doors when the vehicle speed reaches 15 MPH. There is no instruction in the Owner’s Manual on auto-lock function deactivation. All doors unlock automatically when the ignition is placed in the OFF position (models with Intelligent Key system) or when the key is removed from the ignition switch (models without Intelligent Key system). The auto-unlock function can be deactivated by the driver in accordance with Owner’s Manual Instructions. NOTE: The auto-unlock function can be inadvertently deactivated. Do not perform any repairs before attempting to re-activate the auto-unlock function by following the steps below: 1. Close all doors. 2. Place the ignition switch in the ON position. 3. Within 20 seconds of performing Step 2, push and hold the power door lock switch to the position (UNLOCK) for more than 5 seconds. 4. When activated, the hazard indicator will flash twice. When deactivated, the hazard indicator will flash once. 5. The ignition switch must be placed in the OFF and ON position again between each setting change. Please remind the customer to check the Automatic Door Locks description in the Owner’s Manual, section Pre-driving checks and adjustments.
