The MIL is ON with DTC P0448 (Vent Control Valve).
ACTION
1. Reposition the EVAP canister box-drain.
2. Empty water from the EVAP canister filter.

SERVICE PROCEDURE
1. Remove the rear bumper fascia.

Refer to the Electronic Service Manual (ESM), section EXT-Exterior, for removal
information.
2. Locate the EVAP canister box-drain.

The EVAP canister box-drain is located on the passenger side just below the taillight area.

Open end is UP. It
will be reinstalled
facing down.
3. Remove the EVAP canister box-drain.

Pull off
Pull to unsnap and remove.

4. Clean any dirt, ice, or debris from inside the box-drain.
5. Re-install the EVAP canister box-drain
with the open end down as shown in
Figure 3.

 EVAP canister filter for 2014 Sentra is
shown in Figure 4, 2013 Sentra is
similar.
 Figure 4 shows the canister with the
bumper fascia removed.

6. Remove the EVAP canister filter:

Refer to Figure 4, and Figures 5 and 6
on the following pages.
7. Empty water from the EVAP canister
filter.
8. Re-install the EVAP canister filter.

9. Re-install the rear bumper fascia.

