When attempting to duplicate this noise it is important to have a second person safely standing outside of the vehicle to determine if the noise being heard is coming from the front or rear brakes. ACTION: Replace the hardware on both front brake calipers with the kit listed in the Parts Information. Refer to the Electronic Service Manual (ESM), section BR-Brake System, for hardware kit replacement information. NOTE: Machining of the rotors is not necessary for the above front brake noise. Nissan Bulletins are intended for use by qualified technicians, not 'do-it-yourselfers'. Qualified technicians are properly trained individuals who have the equipment, tools, safety instruction, and know-how to do a job properly and safely. NOTE: If you believe that a described condition may apply to a particular vehicle, DO NOT assume that it does. See your Nissan dealer to determine if this applies to your vehicle. 1/2 PARTS INFORMATION DESCRIPTION PART # QUANTITY HARDWARE KIT D1080-1VA0J 1 CLAIMS INFORMATION Submit a Primary Part (PP) type line claim using the following claims coding: DESCRIPTION PFP R&R Front Brake Pads D1080-1VA0J OP CODE SYM DIA FRT PB19AA DD 32 (1) (1) Reference the current Nissan Warranty Flat Rate Manual and use the indicated FRT. 2/2 NTB11-021a
