Workshop findings: The steering angle sender G85 cannot be calibrated. The end stops are not or cannot be adapted. Technical Background New adaptation in the G85 may be required if multiple DTCs are found in the following control modules: ABS control module (ESC), J104 (address word 0003), steering system, J500 (address word 0044), suspension control module, J775 (address word 0074), and instrument cluster, J285 (address word 0017). Note: G85 adaptation can be found under address word 0003 (ABS control module, J104) or address word 0044 (power steering control module, J500). However, if the vehicle is equipped with dynamic steering (PR Code1N7 or 1N8), this function is found under address word 001B (dynamic steering control module, J792).
