GROUP NUMBER Body Electrical Technical Service Bulletin SUBJECT: DATE 21-BE-009H MODEL(S) July, 2021 Santa Fe (TMa) SANTA FE (TMA) CRASH PAD CENTER SPEAKER REPLACEMENT PROCEDURE Description: The front center speaker may produce a scratchy or distorted sound during operation. This bulletin describes the procedure to replace the crash pad center speaker for certain 20 and 21MY TMa Santa Fe. Applicable Vehicles: Certain 2020-2021MY Santa Fe (TMa). Parts Information: PART NAME Speaker Assy – Front Center PART# 96350-S1200 QTY 1 Warranty Information: MODEL OP CODE OPERATION Santa Fe Crash Pad Center 10DA22R0 (TMa) Speaker Replacement OP TIME CAUSAL PART NATURE CODE CAUSE CODE 0.2 M/H 96350-S1200 M43 ZZ3 Note 1: Submit claim on Campaign Claim Entry Screen Note 2: If part that is not covered by this campaign is found in need of replacement while performing this TSB and the affected part is still under warranty, submit a separate claim using the same Repair Order. If the affected part is out of warranty, submit a Prior Approval Request for goodwill consideration prior to performing the work. Circulate To: General Manager, Service Manager, Parts Manager, Warranty Manager, Service Advisors, Technicians, Body Shop Manager, Fleet Repair SUBJECT: SANTA FE (TMA) CRASH PAD CENTER SPEAKER REPLACEMENT Service Procedure: 1. Turn ignition ‘OFF’. 2. Using a plastic pry tool, begin the removal at the indicated position where a slot is located for inserting a removal tool. ! CAUTION Use plastic removal tools and clean shop towels to avoid damage to the crash pad surface. TSB #: 21-BE-009H Page 2 of 4 SUBJECT: SUBJECT: 3. SANTA FE (TMA) CRASH PAD CENTER SPEAKER REPLACEMENT Carefully work the plastic pry tool around the speaker grill until removed. NOTICE Use a clean shop towel or microfiber cloth to protect the crash pad while prying. 4. Remove the two (2) screws that secure the speaker. (A, 8mm) and (B, 8mm). Tightening Torque: 17.7 - 24.5 Nm (1.8 - 2.5kgf.m, 13.0 - 18.1lbft) 5. B A Disconnect the main wiring harness connector (C) and remove speaker.
