SANTA FE (TMA) CRASH PAD CENTER SPEAKER REPLACEMENT
Service Procedure:
1.
Turn ignition ‘OFF’.
2.
Using a plastic pry tool, begin the removal at
the indicated position where a slot is located
for inserting a removal tool.

CAUTION
Use plastic removal tools and
clean shop towels to avoid
damage to the crash pad
surface.

Carefully work the plastic pry tool around the
speaker grill until removed.
NOTICE
Use a clean shop towel or
microfiber cloth to protect the
crash pad while prying.
4.
Remove the two (2) screws that secure the
speaker.
(A, 8mm) and (B, 8mm).
Tightening Torque:
17.7 - 24.5 Nm (1.8 - 2.5kgf.m, 13.0 - 18.1lbft)

Disconnect the main wiring harness
connector (C) and remove speaker.

Connect new speaker and confirm speaker
operates as designed. Once confirmed,
reassemble speaker and grill into crash pad.

The service procedure is now complete.
