Technical Background
The climatronic/climatic system will not retain settings when using the remote start unless AW08 is programmed to do
so.
Service
To program the Climatronic/Climatic system to retain the last settings for remote start:

Select control module OBD for address word 08 (AC control module).

Select adaptation and scroll down the list to “Remote start function, interior climate control status” and select
the empty box under entry (Figure 1).

Select “Remote start function with last set value active” and then select apply at the bottom left corner of the
screen (Figure 2). Apply selection box will appear once remote start function is selected.
Now when the remote start system is activated the last settings active for the air conditioning/heater will be active
(Figure 3).
Tip:
Level settings can also be changed for the ventilated/heated seats, and defrost.
