Customer symptom of vehicle running rough and/or MIL illumination
Technical Description:
– Engine ignition coil circuit intermittently has a higher resistance through the earth
harness point because the fastener is not completely secured against the
eyelet/earth strap
Status:

Inspect G1D178C-1 and G1D108A-1, making sure they are secure and torqued
correctly and in the correct orientation
If P0420-00 - Catalyst System Efficiency Below Threshold (Bank 1) - No sub type
information will be logged within the Powertrain Control Module (PCM)
Please replace the Catalyst before returning to the customer if P0420 was
logged
