Workshop findings:
The following DTC is stored in the head-up display (HUD), J898 (address word 0082):
 DTC B200043 (Control Module Faulty.
Technical Background
There is a software bug in the HUD.
Production Solution
Software 0101 has been released in current series production.
Service
SVM Update Instructions
1. If the HUD is inoperable, reset it by removing fuse SO4 for approximately five minutes and replacing it
afterward.
2. Follow all instructions in TSB 2011732: 00 Software Version Management (SVM), operating instructions.
3. Update the HUD, J898 (address word 0082) using the SVM action code as listed in the table below, if
necessary:
