Cause: Current production AMG engines undergo constant development in regards to performance optimization. In the recent updates to engine and transmission in the C63 vehicles the objective was to optimize the vehicle drive off agility in S+ mode from stand still. These software updates unintentionally led to changes in the engine sound. Remedy: To correct the engine sound after the recent software update situation and resolve customer complaint, update the engine ME again as follows: DVD 07/2016 with add-on 6527 DVD 09/2016 with add-on 6529 Following the engine software update, the transmission control unit will be updated also.
