1. Connect diagnostic tester to vehicle.
2. Warm engine to full operating temperature.
3. Select Control Module OBD => Basic Settings.
Tip:
If basic settings test plan will not run it may be necessary to clear DTC memory even if there are no faults.

4. Select “Reset Learned values quant. Meter. Unit and press. Contr. Valve / Resetting learning values for
reduction agent metering system /and / checking reduction medium quality”.
5. The next screen on the left will show Reset Learned values quant. Meter. Unit and press. Contr. Valve /
Resetting learning values for reduction agent metering system /and / checking reduction medium quality and
in the box on the right will show (VO) not available. Press the blue forward arrow on the bottom right again.

6. Select status of basic settings and operating instructions both will move to the selection box on the right.
7. Press forward arrow again.
8. With Key ON engine OFF, scroll down and select Reset Learned values quant. Meter. Unit and press. Contr.

9. Click start and you will see basic settings ended. Click “Stop” and then click “Next” after each basic settings
ended.

10. Click “Resetting learning values for reduction agent metering system”
11. Click start and basic settings ended. Click “Stop” and then click “Next” after each basic settings ended.
12. Start Engine.
13. No pedals are pressed, vehicle in park, emergency brake is pulled, all doors and hood are closed.

14. Select checking reduction medium quality/ checking wrong medium detection.
15. Select Start.
Tip:
Operating instructions will show hold brake and accelerator pedal, test may take 30 minutes or more.
16. Once test is completed, system ok will be displayed.
17. The AdBlue light and “Message miles to no start” will be reset.
