Condition
Some customers may comment that their vehicle stops charging at 80% state of charge
after a new battery pack was replaced for recall N212343881 or N212345941.
Cause
The cause of the condition is that a VIN reconfiguration may be needed in Service
Programming to align the vehicle with a 100% state of charge calibration in the HPCM2.
Correction
Contact Techline at 800.828.6860 (English) (US & Canada) (800.503.3222 (French) with

GM bulletins are intended for use by professional technicians, NOT a "do-it-yourselfer". They are written to inform these
technicians of conditions that may occur on some vehicles, or to provide information that could assist in the proper
service of a vehicle. Properly trained technicians have the equipment, tools, safety instructions, and know-how to do a
job properly and safely. If a condition is described, DO NOT assume that the bulletin applies to your vehicle, or that your
vehicle will have that condition. See your GM dealer for information on whether your vehicle may benefit from the
information.
