Reason for change
Complaint
Sporadic warning message in instrument cluster "Engine oil pressure stop switch off vehicle" (or similar) is shown in
red on vehicles with low mileage.
Cause
Directional control valve may stick.
Remedy
Read off oil level in instrument cluster and correct if necessary,
Check oil pressure as per WIS.
If both are OK:
Install new directional control valve.
If fault code returns after valve replacement, create a PTSS case.
