Although breaking the IP67 rating of the box, the solution is viable as water ingress from the bottom of the box is very unlikely and will allow the box to drain in case of excessive water ingress coming from elsewhere. The drained water will leak onto the roof of the bus since the fuse box (and cradle) are suspended a few inches over the roof. A (5mm) hole was drilled in one of the corners. Any water accumulated was drained.
