Dealers must perform this Service Campaign on all affected vehicles prior to customer retail
delivery.
When a vehicle arrives at the Service Department, access the “Vehicle Information” screen via
WEBDCS to identify open Campaigns.
Description: This bulletin describes the procedure to update wireless CarPlay to alleviate frequent
disconnection of wireless CarPlay caused by other wireless noise from unknown sources which could make
wireless communication unstable between D-Audio and mobile phone.

consideration prior to performing the work.

Press ENGINE START STOP button to set
Ignition ON, Engine OFF.
2.
Press the SETUP button (A) and enter the
Setting menu.
3.
Press the GENERAL button (B).

Check installed S/W version
- Santa Cruz (NXT)/ Tucson (NX4a):
If installed version is earlier than Sep.
2021, installed same S/W twice.

If installed version is later than Sep.
2021 (including Sep. version) install
once.

Updates are done automatically, so please wait
until the update is complete.
(Approximate time ~ 15 minutes)
There will be multiple occurrences where the
Hyundai logo will appear, or the display will be
black during the update process. This is
normal. This system will restart.
NOTICE
Ensure SW version date is
211112.
Note: For Tucson (NX4a) & Santa Cruz (NXT),
the update is required twice. Once the first
update has been completed, repeat steps 1-7
to update a second time.
