Volvo Chassis - Windshield Wiper Function
Inoperative In Intermittent Mode ONLY



Internal Content
A partial containment will be for the installation of a jumper harness
that contains a resistor to increase the current flow to the motor slip
ring. Future containment will be a new cab harness that will have the
resistor integrated.
NOTE: For trucks produced after 9 September 2019 (W1937), the
aftermarket harness will not be needed.
For applicable vehicles exhibiting the symptom described above:
1. Order Harness Jumper 23522546.
2. Install the jumper harness as shown in the picture below.

motor functionality after harness installation, typically the wiper
motor does not need to be replaced.
