caused by improper maintenance during dealer storage (e.g.: Vehicle was left stationary for a prolonged period of time in
high ambient temperatures).
REPAIR PROCEDURE
Preventive Measure to Eliminate Flat-Spots on Tires during New Vehicle Storage:
1. Adjust and maintain tire inflation pressure to 50 PSI.
2. Move vehicle every two weeks to rotate tires 90 degrees.
Procedure to Remove Flat-Spots on Tires:
1. Adjust the tires inflation pressure to 26 PSI.
2. Drive the vehicle for approximately 10 miles.
3. Adjust the tire inflation pressure to the normal specification value and then verify that the symptoms are gone.
