SERVICE INFORMATION
If the customer has a concern of a MIL, and a DTC(s) is stored in any module,
AND
The ESM diagnosis of the DTC(s) leads to replacement of the electronic shifter assembly,
AND
It is determined that the electronic shifter assembly is inoperable due to an electrical or
mechanical failure including any evidence of liquid intrusion directly into the electronic
shifter assembly.
Submit a factory warranty claim for replacement of the electronic shifter assembly.
Do NOT charge the customer for replacement of the electronic shifter assembly.
