Correction:
Under certain conditions a brake noise or moan may be heard at the beginning of drive-o from a complete stop.
This noise will go away after a short distance and with acceleration and is not an indicator of brake function or
performance degradation.
If the noise continues after a period of driving at speeds >5 mph and other conditions such as vehicle pull, hot
smelling or smoking brakes occurs, that can be a sign of brake drag and the vehicle brake system should be
inspected as soon as possible.
