Bulletin No.: PIT5922 Published date: 06/6/2022 Preliminary Information PIT5922 Unable to Complete Express Function Normalization Procedure After Replacing Driver or Passenger Window Motor or Window Regulator - B1956 SYM55 Models Brand: GMC Model: Yukon Models Model Years: 2022 VIN: from All Engine: to All All Transmissions: All Involved Region or Country North America Additional Options (RPO) Condition Cause 00W Continental Window Motor Some customers may be unable to perform the express function normalization procedure after replacing a driver front or passenger front window motor or regulator assembly. Dealer may nd B1956 SYM55 setting in BCM. The cause of the condition may be that due to part shortages with the Continental window motors and regulators, engineering developed and implemented Brose window motors and regulators to be used. Correction: If vehicle requires replacing the window motor or regulator, then replace the defective part with Brose window motor or regulator service parts. Both Driver and Passenger window motor or regulator will need to be replaced. NOTE: RPO 00W Continental Window Motor / Regulator was used between build dates of 6/7/21 to 9/11/21 and again from build dates of 12/6/2021 to 01/24/22. Once both front window motors or regulators are replaced with Brose service parts, the dealer must contact the Techline Customer Support Center (TCSC) at 1-800-828-6860 English or 1-800-503-3222 French to perform a recon guration removing 00W from the build RPOs to properly con gure the BCM for the replacement Brose window motors or regulators that are now installed in the vehicle.
