STOP DELIVERY ORDER
Effective immediately, stop the delivery of certain 2022 Chevrolet Equinox, and GMC
Terrain vehicles which are listed below and are in new vehicle inventory. These vehicles
require the replacement of the left front seatbelt retractor as part of an internal
investigation.
New vehicles subject to this stop delivery order must be held and not delivered to
customers, dealer-traded, released to auction, used for demonstration purposes or any
other dealer use.
Please perform the following service procedure:
1. Place a SPAC order for kit p/n 84587877.
• Provide the SPAC case number to [email protected] so the order can be
prioritized.
2. Replace the Left Front seatbelt retractor following Front Seat Belt Retractor
Replacement in Service Information.
3. Package the removed retractor back into the receiving shipping box. Place
additional packing material (foam, bubble wrap, etc…) around the retractor to
minimize any movement during shipping.
4. Use labor code 9106235 with the labor time guide published time of 0.5hr.
