Symptom/Vehicle Issue: MIL Lamp Is On, Multiple Glow Plug DTC’s
Customer Complaint/Technician Observation: Owner complains that the MIL (Malfunction
Indicator Lamp) lamp is on in the cluster. Technician Observed the vehicle may have set multiple
DTC’s P052F-00 GLOW PLUG CONTROL MODULE 1 SYSTEM VOLTAGE, P0671, P0672, P0673,
P0674, P0675, P0676-CYLINDER 1-6 GLOW PLUG CIRCUIT OPEN.
Repair Procedure: With multiple glow plug DTC’s, inspect the main B+ feeds and grounds to the
GLOW plug module prior to any other repairs. Review inline connector XY203A Brown/2way for the
A29 circuit, and/or perform a voltage drop test to identify any loss of power supply if needed Fig 1, 2.
Verify the XY203A connector is fully connected and seated.
