Please be advised that a Customer Q&A is now attached below. This can be used by your dealer when
speaking with customers about vehicles and chargers affected by WMP2.
Update 8/31/22
Please be advised that the Owner's Manual Supplement (Part # PNA01200314) cannot be claimed as a part
in WWS for WMP2 claims. As a result, the TI and below instructions have changed. Please invoice the cost of
the Supplement and any associated shipping costs for the supplement all under part # WMP20000001 with the
designation "Expendable items" with a maximum cost of $1.26. Please document a copy of the invoice for this
in the warranty claim.
A pack of Owner's Manual Supplements will be auto allocated to every dealer. Dealers should order additional
stock as needed via PPL.

Issue Description
High temperatures can occur in the plug socket when
charging the vehicle using the Porsche Mobile Char-

ger in conjunction with NEMA industrial plugs due to
the higher charging current.
In this case, heat damage to the electrical socket cannot be ruled out.
To prevent this from happening, a warning sticker will
be affixed to the Porsche Mobile Chargers using the
NEMA standard and the charging current will be initially limited to 50%.
For further awareness, the customer will also be given
a supplement to the Owner's Manual.
What Dealers should do
Please arrange for this measure to be carried out as
soon as possible on affected vehicles. As of the time
of this posting, the repair is immediately available.
Parts are now available and can be ordered as normal via PPL.
We will also be allocating a pack of the Owner's Manual Supplements to every dealer.
