When using the industrial 220v/240v plug at the 100% charge setting, some home power outlets may be incapable of handling the electrical current required to utilize the compact charging system, causing the outlet or charging cable to overheat.
  owners are advised not to use the 220v/240v compact/portable charging cable and only use the 110v home charging cable or public charging stations. Dealers will supply a new 220v/240v compact/portable charging cable with an incorporated temperature sensor, free of charge. Interim owner notification letters explaining the safety risk were mailed february 9, 2024. A second notice will be sent once remedy parts become available, anticipated mid-2024. If the screw comes loose, the steering column could detach and cause a complete loss of steering control. Safety risk: a loss of steering control could create a risk of a crash.   Nhtsa received a petition on or about july 18, 2022, requesting that federal motor vehicle safety standard (fmvss) 141 be applied to all electric and hybrid vehicles operating in the united states. The petition can be reviewed at nhtsa.Gov under odi number 11486072.Fmvss 141 establishes performance requirements for pedestrian alert sounds for motor vehicles. The standard applies to hybrid and electric vehicles that have a gross vehicle weight rating of 4,536 kg or less or are defined as low-speed vehicles. The standard became fully applicable to all such vehicles manufactured on or after march 1, 2021.The petitioner asserts that hybrid and electric vehicles to which the standard does not apply should be found to contain a safety defect. In support of the petition, the petitioner includes findings contained in a bill introduced in the house of representatives in 2009, the pedestrian safety enhancement act of 2009, h.R. 734, 111th cong. (2009). A related bill, the pedestrian safety enhancement act of 2010, became law in january 2011 (pub. L. 111-373). The petitioner requests that nhtsa require all electric and hybrid vehicles comply with fmvss 141, regardless of production date.The defect petition has been opened to evaluate the issue and determine whether to grant or deny the petition.The associated product list is not exhaustive and may contain vehicles that are equipped with pedestrian alert sounds.

Last year around january, adaptive cruse control stop working after dealer "fixed" almost closing a collision ( vehicle in motion), today park assist stop working 360 degree view completely off and no sound of proximity obstacles, ( vehicle in motion pulling of parking lot)

Last year around january, adaptive cruse control stop working after dealer "fixed" almost closing a collision ( vehicle in motion), today park assist stop working 360 degree view completely off and no sound of proximity obstacles, ( vehicle in motion pulling of parking lot)

There's a electrical issue with the vehicle. Periodically, these error messages run in a continues loop( acc not available, high beam assist not available, driving light control error, pas restricted and camera system restricted). The local dealers have not been able to fix the issue. I opened a porsche complaint file, which is number 5574318. This issue has been happening since the car was delivered, which was sixteen months ago. Porsche has made little effort in fixing the issue. It very concerning since when the error messages are rolling though it affects several safety features on the vehicle.
