Attention: Technicians, Parts Personnel, and Warranty Personnel Vehicle Type: 918 Spyder, Panamera E-Hybrid (970), Panamera E-Hybrid (971), Cayenne E-Hybrid (92A/ 9YA/ 9YB), Taycan (Y1A) Model Year: 2014 - Present Concern: Packaging and test log requirements for high voltage lithium-ion battery returns. Information: During the packaging of a High Voltage Lithium Ion battery, copies of The test log for classification of lithium-ion high voltage batteries (located in PCSS – Standard Forms or the 2X section of the workshop manual) must be attached inside the box and to the document bag on the exterior of the box as per the Workshop Manual 2X00IN Packing non-critical high-voltage battery (970, 971, 92A, 9YA, 9YB, Y1A) or Workshop Manual 2708IN Packaging instructions for high-voltage battery (918) Failure to attach the required test logs could impair the processing of your warranty core. Note! Only non-critical batteries may be returned in the standard packaging. For critical batteries, contact PCNA Technical Support via High Priority PRMS immediately upon recognition of a critical battery.
