Technical Service Bulletin 00 "Invalid Data Record" DTC stored in ECU 00 14 66 2037949/1 July 30, 2014. Model(s) Year VIN Range Vehicle-Specific Equipment All 2008 - 2016 All Not Applicable Condition A DTC with the description “Invalid Data Record” is stored after an ECU has been replaced or updated. Technical Background This DTC is normal. It indicates that the parameter data has not been properly programmed into the ECU by SVM. Production Solution Not applicable. Service The DTC can only be cleared if the parameter data is programmed into the ECU using SVM. 1 If there is no GFF test plan for the DTC, execute an SVM specified vs. actual comparison or SVM check module configuration. 2 If SVM does not provide a response with updated parameter data (“parameterization”), search for any applicable TSBs with an SVM exchange code. The code can also be listed in ETKA under the “Remarks” section for the specific part, or at the top of the illustration page in the “Name” section description. 3 If a parts bulletin number is found, open the bulletin to view the code.
